Coach Amirah

Warm-up:

Players will juggle the ball using their feet and thigh.

Captain's Ball:

Captain's Ball

Players will be split into two teams. One player from each team will be the "catcher" and will be stationed within the box set up on both sides of the pitch. Players aren't allowed to move when they are holding the ball. Improves players' positioning and teamwork.

2v1:

Players will be split into attackers and defenders. Attackers will go in pairs. Defenders will start off by passing the ball to one of the attackers. Attackers will attempt to pass and score while the defender will attempt to stop attackers from scoring and clear the ball from play.

Improves players' passing, positioning, attacking and defending skills.

3v1:

3v1 Drill

This drill acts like a simulation of a soccer match. The pitch will be split into three lanes for the attackers: right midfielder, left midfielder and centre midfielder. Players will be in groups of three. The coach or an extra player can play the role of the defender stationed behind the midfielders to assist the attack. The defender's role is to prevent the attackers from passing and scoring.
