🎮 Classic Listening & Control Games
Self-control, following instructions, and suspense.
Red Light, Green Light
One player is the "Traffic Light" facing away. Others line up far back. On "Green Light!" players run forward; on "Red Light!" they must freeze. Anyone caught moving goes back to start. First to tag the Traffic Light wins!
Simon Says
One child is "Simon" and gives commands. Players only follow commands starting with "Simon says..." — anyone who follows a command without it is out. Last player remaining wins.
Musical Statues (Freeze Dance)
Dance when music plays, freeze when it stops. Anyone who moves, laughs, or falls is out. The last person standing and freezing successfully wins.

Tug of War
Two teams pull on opposite ends of a rope. First team to pull the other team's marker over the center line wins. Safety first — use a thick rope and no wrapping around hands!
Parachute Games
Using a large colorful parachute, kids work together on fun challenges:
- 🍄 Mushroom: Lift the parachute high then pull it down behind you and sit on the edge, trapping air inside.
- 🐱 Cat and Mouse: One child crawls under (mouse) while another crawls on top (cat). Others shake the parachute to hide the mouse!
- 🍿 Popcorn: Place soft balls on the parachute and shake wildly to make the "popcorn" fly!
Human Knot
6–10 kids stand in a circle, reach in and each grab two different people's hands (not their neighbor's). The goal: untangle into a circle without letting go — by stepping over, ducking under, and twisting around!

Steal the Bacon
Two teams are numbered. The leader calls a number and that player from each team races to grab the "bacon" (beanbag/ball) in the center and return safely without being tagged. Safe return = point for your team!
Capture the Flag
Divide the area into two halves. Each team hides their flag in their territory. Players cross into enemy territory to steal their flag — but if tagged, they go to jail! A teammate can free them. First to bring the enemy flag home wins.
What Time Is It, Mr. Wolf?
"Mr. Wolf" faces away while others line up at the other end. Players chant "What time is it, Mr. Wolf?" — Wolf calls a time and players take that many steps forward. When Wolf says "Dinner time!" they chase everyone back to the start. Whoever is caught becomes the new Wolf.
Ship Captain Crew
The "Captain" calls commands and the last person to respond is out. Commands include: Starboard (run right), Port (run left), Bow (run front), Stern (run back), Captain's Coming (stand to attention & salute — can't move until "At ease"), Scrub the Decks (hands and knees scrubbing), Man Overboard (one person lies down, another puts a foot on their back).
