Participation Terms & Conditions
Including Waiver and Consent for Free Trial, Programs, Camps, Youth/Adult Programs, Events and Birthday Parties
1. Consent and Agreement
With the confirmation of registration (whether for yourself or your child) for our free trial, programs, camps, youth/adult programs, events, birthday parties, or any activities organized by Ministry of Football Pte Ltd and Ministry of Sports Pte Ltd (hereinafter "MOF") and/or its related entities such as MOF Academy (hereafter "MOF activities") and/or (partial/complete) payment of the requisite fee, you hereby agree that you give full consent and approval to participate (or for your child to participate) in any MOF activities.
These terms apply to all participants including children (ages 5.5-16), youth (ages 16-17), and adults (ages 18-55) participating in any MOF programs, events, or activities.
2. Assumption of Risk
You understand that there are certain risks of injury inherent in the practice and play of football as well as other related activities. For participants under 18, parents/guardians are willing to assume these risks on behalf of their child. For adult participants (18 and above), you assume these risks on your own behalf. You certify that the participant is fully capable of participating in any MOF activities and is healthy and has no disabilities or infirmities that would restrict full participation in these activities.
Notwithstanding any accommodation that may be made, MOF reserves the right to assess the suitability of participation for any individual. Where a participant with a disclosed disability or medical condition is permitted to participate, it is done so on the explicit understanding that all risks associated with that condition are solely assumed by the participant (or parent/guardian for minors). MOF, its officers, coaches, and representatives shall not be held liable for any injury, incident, or adverse outcome arising from or related to any pre-existing disability, infirmity, or medical condition.
3. Waiver and Release
In addition to giving your full consent, you do hereby waive, release and hold harmless the organisation, its officers, coaches and representatives for any injury that may be suffered by the participant (whether yourself or your child) in the normal course of participation in any MOF activities and the activities incidental thereto, whether the result of negligence or any other cause.
4. Photography and Media Rights
You agree that any/all photography and video recordings of participants (whether yourself or your child) shall be property of MOF, to be utilised by MOF as it deems fit, for objectives consistent with its commercial goals.
5. Insurance
Please note that insurance is not provided for participants. If you wish to obtain insurance coverage for sporting activities, kindly contact any reliable insurance companies (or if you require a recommendation from us please let us know).
6. Payment, Refund, and Absence Policy
6.1. General Payment & Refund Policy
The participation fees for MOF activities are non-refundable. Any cancellation of your child's enrolment will result in the forfeiture of all fees paid.
6.2. Policy for Missed Sessions & Absences
If a participant is absent from a booked session, you must notify us. The session will be marked as absent. To have this session credited back to your account for future use, you must provide a valid Medical Certificate (MC) or a positive COVID-19 test result (belonging to the participant) for the date of the missed session.
Absent sessions with valid documentation (MC/COVID test) will be credited back. Sessions missed without such documentation are also credited so long as as you do not miss another booked session within 3 weeks (see below).
6.3. Charges for Repeated Absences
If you are booked and absent twice within any 3-week period, the second absent session will be charged and forfeited. This charge will be waived if a valid MC or positive COVID-19 test (as outlined in 6.2) is provided for the second absence. Enforcement action may be pursued if a provided positive COVID-19 test is discovered to belong to another individual.
6.4. Long-Term Non-Attendance
All packages have an expiry of 9 months and will be forfeited after 9 months from payment date, regardless of outstanding unused credits
7. Program Changes
You acknowledge that there may be amendments made to MOF activities, comprising free trials, programmes and/or camps (such as venue and timing) and that you will be informed by the organisation of any such changes.
8. Unsanctioned Participation
Should any participant (adult or child) be discovered participating in any MOF activities without having first made full pre-payment, the participant or responsible adult shall make full payment of a regular course amount within 24 hours of such discovery. MOF also reserves the right to impose a late/overdue/unsanctioned fee of $100 per such session attended.
9. Events & Birthday Parties
All terms and conditions outlined in this document also apply to one-off or short-run events and birthday parties organized by MOF.
9.1. No Refunds Policy for Events
As manpower, equipment, and venues are specifically booked and reserved for your event, no refunds will be provided for cancellations. It is always preferable to use our fully sheltered venues, which we arrange as far as possible.
9.2. Venue Guidelines
Venues may have strict guidelines on non-consumption of food, littering, and other activities. Therefore, celebrations may be limited according to the specific venue's policies and regulations.
